I am a Certified End of Life Doula and I volunteer with Bayada Hospice where I provide massage therapy and comfort care. I am a Level 3 Healing Touch practitioner, a heart centered energy techniques to help clear and renew the loving energy so a loved one can pass with grace and ease.
" A Souls Journey" doula service is where I help people plan their end-of-life process before they become ill, diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and/ or while on hospice. Helping people understand the process and how they want to die is so important at this stage. This truly fills my heart all with joy!
Eleven years before becoming an end-of-life doula I went back to school to be a licensed massage therapist after 20 years as a CAT scan/ MRI technologist. I had an amazing opportunity to work as a technologist across the country. I really enjoyed the medical field but realized I wasn't able to help my patients improve their quality of life. That was until I went back to school in my late 40s for massage therapy.
MORE Medical Massage and Laser is located in Northfield, NJ where we concentrate on pain relief, educating patients on different ways to relieve stress, pain and teaching patients how to stretch and exercise. We also have experienced Massage therapists who specialize in geriatric massage as well as therapeutic, sports and neuromuscular massage.
I had the opportunity to become a certified Entheogenic Integration Coach with Being True to You. The research and understanding behind entheogenics is mind blowing. We are seeing a huge demand for this modality in the mental health and end of life arena with good reason. - Legacy Projects: Capturing the pure essence of someone's life story, memories and wisdom. Providing workshops where we create legacy projects like video/audio recordings, letters to loved ones and photo and recipe albums.
- Family Communication: Assist in opening difficult conversations with loved ones. To ensure everyone's needs are validated and respected.
- Grief support and resources. Pre and post death
